World Ecolabel Day
Every year in October, more than 50 countries around the world celebrate ecolabels – such as the Blue Angel – that demonstrably protect the environment and our health. The aim of World Ecolabel Day is to jointly raise more awareness amongst the public for sustainable consumption and to highlight the role of the Blue Angel and other ecolabels as practical guides for sustainable purchasing.
Who can take part
Everyone can take part from environmental groups and consumer advice agencies through to schools and companies. That’s because environmental protection is something that concerns us all.
