Many goods and services carry seals and labels today that are designed to make purchasing decisions easier for consumers. In order to provide guidance to consumers when they are making their purchasing decisions, it is not only important that a label is well-known but also that it is credible. The Blue Angel was the first ecolabel worldwide and since then it has been viewed as a credible label by consumers for good reason.
