The SEPAWA Congress is the meeting place for the detergents and cleaning products industry and the cosmetics and perfumery sector in Europe. From October 16 to 18, 2024, the Blue Angel and the EU Ecolabel provided information about the certifications at a joint stand. Employees of the Federal Environment Agency and RAL gGmbH held talks with companies that have been awarded the label and potentially interested companies. In the exhibition area, more than 300 companies presented their latest products and the knowledge behind them.
Dr. Kristin Stechemesser from the Federal Environment Agency also gave a presentation on the European Green Deal and its impact on labels and claims.
The Blue Angel certifies detergents and cleaning agents as well as shampoos, shower gels and soaps and other so-called rinse-off cosmetic products.
