Palm Top Heatset-/ gravure paper
Palm Top 68 H
Palm has developed a type of paper especially for heatset Offset printing to close the gap between the improved newsprint paper and the SC-B types of paper. The uncoated magazine paper, Palm Top 68, excels with its high smoothness and high specific volume. Thus, it is especially suitable for magazines, inserts and supplements as well as for catalogues. The benefits for the print run are its excellent running properties and a good printability of the full tones and the half tones. Palm Top may be produced with a reel width up to 366cm and a diameter of 150cm max. The current grammage range comprises 45gsm, 48.8gsm and 52gsm.
Palm Top 60 H
Many retail chains and other retailers request a type of paper for their printed products where a degree of whiteness of 60° ISO Brightness is sufficient, it is a high-gloss paper with sufficient smoothness but still retains a high-quality feel. The reason being, that the standard degree of whiteness is cost effective and environmentally-friendly.
Palm Top 60 is perfectly designed for these types of requirements. This type of paper may be used for heatset and offset printing.
